Use of content
The text, images, audio, and video on this website are the property of the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation or its licensors, except where credited otherwise.
You may share and link to Foundation content for non-commercial educational, journalistic, or advocacy purposes with attribution. Commercial use, reproduction in another publication, or use in derivative works requires written permission — contact communications@marinesanctuary.org.
Donations
Gifts to the Foundation are processed by Fundraise Up. All donations are non-refundable and final unless made in error — to request a correction email development@marinesanctuary.org within 30 days.
The National Marine Sanctuary Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. State-specific charitable solicitation disclosures are available on request.
User submissions
When you submit a comment, photo, or other content through Foundation forms — including event RSVPs, surveys, photo contests, and advocacy actions — you grant the Foundation a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content for Foundation programs, communications, and reports.

This site contains links to external websites — partner organizations, news outlets, social media platforms, and government sites including NOAA. The Foundation is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites.
